OK OK OK Bad girl reporting for duty

Hi all,
I know you are all shocked! I am so sorry I thought I had posted at least in January but guess not. Life got way out of control just after my last post. I got offered a job that we desperately needed at the time. It was supposed to be part time but ended being 60 hour weeks. I loved it and it was fun but my personal time and life stopped for a while. Lets say till May. I ended up getting laid off because there was not quite enough income to pay the boss and me. I have to say that I know it was Heavenly Fathers way of helping get to where I needed to be.... with my husband and kids.. May I spent catching up on kid time and housework. June has become my get projects done month. I have to say I am so happy not working and having the time and energy to spend with my family.. I have enjoyed the cool summer weather and can't believe that the kids go back in the middle of August.. They will be attending a new school just around the corner from us.
J.P. is doing well at work, in fact he has been #1 two months in a row. I guess this is the Lords way of supplementing my lost income. He is excited to be starting guitar lessons tomorrow from a boy in our ward. He is also currently a green belt in Tae Kwon Do. It looks like he will be meeting most of his goals this year. The biggest on holding him back is weight and working out.. Hopefully that will come soon for him.
I have been doing P90X and am getting so much stronger. My body is tightening up but no weight loss yet...in fact a little gain. I hope when I start my new cycle in September the weight will come off.
I would love to include pictures but the computer with my software and pictures crashed. I'm supposed to get it back on Monday or Tuesday of next week. I can't wait... I am planning on scrapbooking that weekend and desperatly need my pictures.

My friend Bethany tagged me. I have to tell you seven weird things about me. I've been thinking about this for a couple days and came up with a lot of great things. But now I can't remember them because as it was when I was falling asleep. I'll give it an honest try, but if anyone wants to comment and fill me in on something that's weird. I would love to hear what it is. It always makes me laugh when someone will share something about me and all I can do is die laughing, because I can't deny it. So here goes.

1. I love to put ketchup on tacos.
2. I laugh when I'm nervous or uncomfortable.
3. I am a side seat driver.
4. I don't like chocolate.
5. I can go days without a shower. You can ask anyone who knows me. It doesn't mean this isn't gross. I just keep finding new excuses that I'm going to get dirty anyway, and why should I shower.
6. I can control my bodily functions. I don't know what I'm going to burp or fluffy, and neither does anyone else. He he he.
7. I always gag myself when I'm brushing my tongue.

Cruise Time

Is everyone ready to be jealous. My parents decided to take all of their kids on a family vacation together. My mom has always wanted to go on a cruise. So when she sold her last house, she is a real estate agent, she used that money to take us on a cruise. Everyone was able to go except Jayson and Jacquie. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to be in the military and not able to leave when you wanted to. We missed you guys terribly. Mom even paid for the airfare to fly to Long Beach. To tell you the truth. It was one of the funnest experiences I've had with my family. We all acted like 10-year-old children and adult bodies. Just some of the highlights were playing sardines on the ship decks at nighttime. All of the other cruisers enjoyed laughing at us and helping us look for each other. I think they thought it was funny to see 11 adults crammed into a small area, giggling and waiting for the last one to find us. We also did karaoke. I think most of us took a turn except mom and dad. JP got up one night and saying naughty girl. Everyone thought it was hilarious. Then another night he sang a song called Ebony and Ivory with a guy named Malcolm that we met on the cruise. He and his family joined us on the last night to play sardines. The song was of Stevie wonder and Paul McCartney. JP sang the part of Stevie Wonder. And Macolm who is black, sang the part of Paul McCartney, which made it much funnier. Josh and Keaton were well known on the ship by many of the girls and the cruisers. They participated in many of the games and shows that were put on. We also played miniature golf as a family. When we got to Catalina Island. We rode golf carts around and toured. It was very pretty, but also very scary as Josh was driving and almost killed us. Just kidding Josh. We also got to go snorkeling. The water was pretty rough and cold, but it was enjoyable, at least for me. I think Joy got a little freaked out. Dinner time at the table was fun, and we enjoyed laughingand telling stories of the day. We got a little news out of this. Jessica and Justin are expecting. I can't believe it. All four of my sisters or sister in-laws are expecting. They asked if I felt left out, a little may be because I like to share that with them, but we're done, and I can enjoy watching them suffer.
when we got off the ship, we all felt a little woozy. Me a little more than others. I ended up with vertigo, and the flu. The next week was hell on wheels as my family wanted my attention. And I couldn't give it to them. It was an awesome experience, and I wouldn't trade it for the world, but I'm not going on anymore cruises anytime soon. More pictures to come soon.

So this year for Sydney's birthday, we decided to go horseback riding as a family .Since it is an odd birthday this year. It means it's family time not friend time. we had a lot of fun, and the girls and Jayven thoroughly enjoyed the horses. I can't believe how fast time flies. The kids are so big and getting so mature. I can't believe Sydney is already nine years old. Here are some pictures of us enjoying the horses. I especially love the one of JP, where he's riding the horse. This saddle is made for a kid, but it was the best horse. for him to ride. I think the caption is, big guy on a little horse.

Ok Now I Must Be Feeling Guilty.

Just wanted all to know we are still alive and well. I sometimes get so bogged down in life that I just don't take the time. It is kind of sad because I so enjoy reading everyone elses blogs. And I have forgotten most of what has happened in the last 3 or so months. I will try to do better AGAIN. This summer was fun and busy. Jessica got married. Got to spend time with family, especially those from out of state. We took the kids and grandma and grandpa Stonehocker to Wolf Creek for 5 days and had a blast. The kids started school so early this year and I have been scrambling trying to get them ready and get into the school routine. Here it is the middle of September and I'm still struggling at that. The girls have also started soccer and dance. So between everything it is pretty chaotic. I'm sure so many more things happened but that is what happens when you don't blog regularly. I'm sorry there are no pictures but I need to download them off of my camera and if you know me that may take a while.

Horseback Riding

We had so much fun horseback riding at our neighbors house. The kids were very excited but not as much as the moms. It had been years for us and we were all excited to do it again. Jacquie and Lisa were in town so we had Jonathon and Kaden. First the little boys got to go with the moms. It was so cute to see, especially Kaden. His helmet was a little too big and it kept coming down over his eyes. Then Lisa got to ride for a minute. She was so nice to take the little boys back to the house while Jacquie and I stayed with the girls. All of the girls got to ride all by themselves and they did so well. Then Jacquie and I got a chance. It had been so long but it was just like getting back on a bike after a while. I loved it and hope we another chance to ride again.

Pioneer Trek

I am so thankful that my parents gave us the opportunity to join them on their ward Trek. It was a lot of work to get ready for but well worth it. It was a 7 hour drive out to Wyoming. We went to the Willie Handcart site. This is where they got stopped by an early winter storm and where they stopped to die. They were rescued but not before a lot of lives were lost. It was so neat to take my girls with me so we could all have a small experience like the pioneers. Of course we had great shoes, good clothing, plenty of food, and it only lasted for 8 hours. It wasn't even as hard as they had it and it was still hard. I realized how extremely spoiled and fortunate I am. I also got the opportunity to feel the spirit whisper the truthfulness of the gospel to me. It truly was a great learning experience. On the other hand the kids might have been just a little too young. They truly didn't understand what we were there for and as one of my kids said " Grandma why are they torturing us." I hope they can look back and see it for the neat experience it was.

Jessica's Wedding

I can't believe my youngest sister is now married. It was so beautiful at her reception. I think everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the kids who ran wild. Jess, I am so happy for you and wish you the best.

Family Times

I'm sure not good at keeping up on this blog yet, but I'm trying. Life is well for all involved. The kids are growing and I can't believe how quickly they don't need you any more. I am keeping busy as ever but I am trying to learn to say "NO" and how to prioritize. I'm sure it will take me a while and I hope my family won't suffer any more. J.P. is doing fine except he is always on the prowl for that all illusive dream job. We are trying our hand in a company called Kyani. It is a health supplement using Alaska blueberries, Salmon omega 3's and incredible vitamin E(I can't yet remember the name yet.) So far it seems to be doing wonders for J.P. I'll be starting mine soon. If anyone wants a sample let me know. It is free of cost. Anyway back to the important stuff. Mom and Dad Stonehocker are plugging away . Both are keeping busy to avoid that empty Nester's syndrome. Mom has a singing group, racquetball group, and working at the temple. Dad as always keeps his hands in many different businesses and with projects improving the house. Have you ever known dad to sit still? We had bad news from Jayson and Jacquie. They lost their little girl this last week and we give them our condolences and wish them the best. Jeron and Lisa are doing well in Arizona. Hope they don't fry in the summer sun. Josh will be heading up to Canada soon and trying to make hoards of money with Justin making screens. Joy and Bryan are settling in nicely into their new home just around the corner from me. Jessica is engaged to a young man named Justin Johnson. They are happy and in love. The Radford side of the family is surviving. I don't know what else to say. Mom is living in an apartment on the East side of Provo. She is enjoying being so close to nature and she loves the view. Elijah lives not many blocks away. Natalie and Aaron got married on February 29,08. They are enjoying starting their new family life together. Stephanie is up in Daybreak and enjoying living close to her sister. The Whiting Grandparents are living in Saratoga Springs. They have the most gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. They, and so do we , love having them so close. It is the first time in 28 years J.P. has had a chance to have his father around. The grand kids love hanging out with Mimi and Papa.

Hey Guys, about time I updated my site. I will get better at this a little at a time. Our family is doing well and escaping the flu season, mostly, barring the occasional cold or fever. The kids are growing fast and doing well in school. We recently celebrated Jayven and Arianna's b-days, 2nd and 7th. Here is something a friend sent me via e-mail.
